Kit and equipment
What the club owns, who has it, and what needs replacing. It lives under Club > Kit, and it belongs to the quartermaster: a hat anyone in the club can wear, like the tea hut.
Who can see it
- The quartermaster and club admins: everything, and they are the only people who can change it.
- A team's coaches and managers: what their own team has out, and nothing else. It also shows on the team's event for the day, so a coach can see what they should have in the car.
- Everyone else, including parents: nothing.
Putting something on the list
Add something, then give it a name, what kind of thing it is, how many there are, and where it lives. Two fields matter later:
- Condition: new, good, worn, or needs replacing. The last one shows in the club's own colour for a problem, so the list tells you what to buy without reading every line.
- Runs out: for first-aid kits and anything else with a date on it. You get a digest line 30 days before.
Issuing it
Issue against any item: choose the team, how many, and when it should be back. What is out shows in its own section, with who has it. Back in returns it; the loan stays on the record, so you can see what has been where.
Anything overdue back appears under Needs you at the top, and in the quartermaster's daily digest.
The kit check
Walk the container with the list open, put each thing's condition right, then Record a check. It keeps the date, who did it, how many things were on the list and anything you noted. Three checks are shown; they are all kept.
Taking something off the list
Take off the list when something is gone or thrown away. Nothing is deleted: the item is ended, and the loans that went through it stay as they were, so last season's record still adds up.
