Clubs and organisers pay nothing to use Whole Team. When a family pays a sub or an entry fee through the app, one fee line covers the card cost and our charge. The club chooses whether the parent pays it or the club absorbs it.

The fee line, worked through
A £30 sub costs the parent £30.96, or the club receives £29.05. The club chooses.

When the parent pays, the card cost is worked out on what they pay, so the club still receives the full £30.
- Our charge is 1% of the payment, capped at £5, and nothing at all on payments under £5.
- The card cost is Stripe's, passed through at cost and shown with our charge as one line. Premium, European and international cards cost Stripe more; that difference comes out of what the club receives.
- If a club refunds a payment, our charge is not returned; it is returned only if Whole Team took the payment in error. Stripe's fixed 20p is never returned.
- Marking a payment as paid by bank transfer is free and unlimited.
- Money goes straight to the club's own bank account through Stripe. We never hold it.
Questions about money
- Why is it free for clubs?
- Because clubs are run by volunteers on tight budgets. We are paid a small, visible charge on payments made through the app, and nothing else. We never sell advertising or data.
- What will Club Plus cost if we don't collect subs through Whole Team?
- A yearly fee that we will set once real clubs are using it. Until then no number is published, and charities and CASCs get it free.
- What does Coach Pro cost?
- One yearly price per club, covering all its coaches, set at launch.
- Can the club pay the fee instead of parents?
- Yes. One switch in club settings: parents pay the fee line, or the club absorbs it. The treasurer's report shows what was collected and what the club received.
- Is there a charge for leaving?
- No. Everything the club owns exports in one click, free, at any time.
