Where it is, and when to be there

An event tells a family the three things they actually need on a Saturday morning: what time to arrive, where it is, and how to get there.

The time to arrive, not the kick-off

Most events have two times. Kick-off is when the match starts; meet is when the coach wants everybody there, usually half an hour before. The one shown largest is the one that matters to you - being told 10:30 when the coach meant 10:00 is how a child misses the warm-up.

Getting there

The venue's name and address are on the event, with a Directions link. It opens whichever map app your phone already uses, with the address filled in - we do not keep a map of our own, and nothing about where you are is sent to us or to anyone else.

If the club has added a note about the place - which gate to use, where to park, which pitch of four - it is on the event too. That note is written by somebody at the club who has been there, which is usually worth more than the postcode.

If it changes

A coach can move an event or call it off, and every family on the team is told straight away. The event itself is updated, so the version in your hand is always the current one.
