Coach
Getting started as a coach
Who's coming, the team picked, who's fit to play, the team's chat and its photos. About fifteen minutes before your first session.
What you'll have at the end
- Who's In, Maybe or Out for every session and match, before you get there.
- The team picked and the team sheet sent, with stand-downs kept out.
- The team's chat and photos, with every child's face rule kept for you.
The steps
5 steps, about 13 minutes of your time.

1See who's in
Open the session or match: each player's answer is there, In, Maybe or Out, and who hasn't answered yet.
About 2 minutes

2Pick the team
On a match, Pick the team: tick Selected or Standby for each player, then publish the team sheet. Families see it in the app.
About 5 minutes

3Fit to play and stand-downs
Your team › Match day › Fit to play. A stand-down keeps a player out of selection until its date; their parent confirms it with one tap.
About 2 minutes

4The team's chat
Your team › Chat: everyone on the team reads it, parents included. For things that matter, Announcements reach every family.
About 2 minutes

5Moments and the face rule
Your team › Moments: photos from matches and training. Faces are blurred on the phone before anything is sent, and families choose who can be shown.
About 2 minutes
Guides for the day
What to tell the others
For your team's WhatsApp group.
Please answer In or Out on each session and match in the Whole Team app, so I can plan. The team sheet goes out there too.
If your child can't play for a while, record a stand-down on their page and they won't be picked until it ends.
If it goes wrong
"A parent says they can't see the team."
They see a team once their child is on it: they add their child and ask to join, and you approve it.
"Add your child in the app and ask to join; I'll approve it." Then Accept on your team's Players.
"A player's face shows in a photo."
Faces are blurred unless the family said yes to the team's photos.
Hide the photo from the team's Moments, and check the family's answer with them.
"I can't pick a player."
A stand-down keeps them out until its date.
Check Match day › Fit to play: the stand-down and its date are there.
