Joining a club: your invite is the whole of it

Sign in from your invite

  1. Your invite comes by email
  2. Type the address your club has for you
  3. Tap Continue
  4. Type the 6 digits from the email
  5. You're in

You do not sign up to Whole Team and then go looking for your club. Your club invites you, by email, and the invitation is the whole of it.

What arrives

One email from your club, naming the club and usually the team, with a button that says Sign in to Whole Team. Press it, enter the same email address the invitation came to, and you are in — already in the club, already on the team, with nothing to type in and nothing to find.

It only works with the address it was sent to. That is deliberate: it is what stops an invitation that is forwarded, or read over somebody's shoulder, putting a stranger into a club full of children. If you would rather use a different address, ask whoever invited you to send it there instead; it takes them a moment.

If it does not arrive

  • Look in your junk folder first, and mark it as safe so the next one is not hidden.
  • Check the address. Ask your club admin to read back the address they used — a typo is the usual answer.
  • Some workplace mailboxes hold anything from an address they have not seen before.

If it never comes, ask your club to send it again, to the address you want to use. There is no code to type. You join by signing in with the address your club invited, so the invitation and your sign-in are the same thing.

What happens next

The first time you sign in you are asked for your name, and for your mobile number if you would like to give one — your profile explains both, and you can say Not now to the number.

If you have children at the club, add them on You › Your family and profile, and the club's coaches will see them on the right team.

You do not need an account for each club

One person is one account, in any number of clubs. If you are invited to a second club at an address you already use, sign in with the account you have and the new club simply appears in it.
